At around 09:55 on November 16, 2025, a single bear approximately 0.5 meters long was sighted up a tree in a forested area of Unai-Kitanakako, Aizubange Town, Fukushima. No damage to people or property has been confirmed; police are sharing information with relevant agencies and are carrying out patrols in the vicinity.
