A witness driving on Mizuhono-sato Road, southbound from Ota Town, Daisen City toward Misato Town Rokugo East, spotted a bear about 100 m ahead on the road. The bear fled into the eastern woods. About 50 cm long. About 400 m to a house.

While southbound on Mizuho no Sato Road, from Ōta, Daisen City toward Rokugo Higashi in Misato, a bear emerged from the road’s right and collided with the vehicle. The bear’s subsequent movements are unknown. Length about 1 m; about 70 m to a house.
