At around 00:05 on November 17, 2025, a driver on Route 289 in Harinu, Minamiaizu Town, spotted a single bear approximately 1.5 meters long at the roadside. The bear entered the forest afterwards; no injuries or property damage have been reported. Police have provided information to the town and are conducting patrols in the area.

Around 4:08 p.m. on November 8, in Kamunai, Nan'aimachi, the witness returning home saw a bear about 1 m in a field north of the house. The bear then went into the bushes north of the field.
