Around 11:00 on November 25 in Obuse Town, Nagano Prefecture, a staff member spotted and reported one bear cub near a shrine while kindergarten children were on a walk. Police and town officials searched but did not find the bear; there were no injuries, the children returned to the nursery, and residents were advised to be cautious.
