Around 23:45 on April 19, an animal about 50 cm long resembling a bear was sighted on the Abukuma River riverbank at Tokusada-Kamikawahara, Tamuramachi, Koriyama City. There were no human injuries; the animal's whereabouts are unknown after the sighting, and the Koriyama police increased patrols by patrol cars and reported the information to the city.
