Spotted one bear about 1 m in body length on the road. The bear crossed the road from the seaside toward the mountains. It was approximately 250 m from the nearest building.

While driving from Kamo-Aosa toward Funakawa, I saw a bear approximately 1.0 m long in the roadside grass on the seaward side while waiting at a roadwork traffic signal. It left heading west (toward the sea).
