[Report] It ran through from the Ushinosawa area toward the Sugisawa area.

When I opened the door to go outside, there was a bear very close. I hurried back inside and didn't see which direction it went. Town staff checked the scene and found footprints from the eastern hillside through the residential grounds toward the northwest mountains. Length about 1 m.

Length about 1 m. About 5 m from a dwelling. While traveling on National Route 108 from Yuzawa direction toward Honjo direction, a bear darted out from the road's left side and struck the vehicle's left front. The bear departed; direction unknown. No injuries to the driver.

While driving south on a prefectural road, observed a bear cross from west to east. Length about 1 m.

While driving, sighted a moon bear (Asian black bear). When illuminated by the headlights, it fled toward the mountains. Length about 1.3 m. About 100 m to the nearest house.

From inside a residence, a sow with a cub was observed walking in front of the garage. It then headed toward a chicken coop. The sow is about 120 cm long and the cub about 80 cm. It was about 40 m from the house.
