Mt. Koga

Encountered a bear walking on the forest road while passing by on a motorcycle. It went further into the mountain. Location: about 200 to 300 meters up from the “Fukube no Mori” parking area.

While we approached Kogayama by car to climb from the road just below Misaka Pass on Kogayama, a black object that looked like a small bear crossed the road downhill from the mountain. My companion also saw it and we agreed it was a cub. We didn’t have time to take a photo.
