Near the 129 km marker on the Akita Expressway, outbound lane: a collision between a bear and a vehicle. The bear was crossing from left to right (west to east) and the vehicle could not avoid it, with the rear of the vehicle striking the bear. Direction the bear went after the incident is unknown.
