On the morning of November 7, 2025, a bear about 50 cm long was sighted in Aizumisato. It was first reported around 06:00 on a private property and later around 09:45 at the Seseragi Green Park management building grounds; the bear fled north to northeast and its whereabouts are unknown. No injuries have been reported.
