[Report] Spotted a young Asian black bear (Tsukinowaguma) on a city road near the Nizawa No. 2 intake station of the Akita City Water and Sewer Bureau. When I briefly stopped my car, it ran off into the forest.

[Report] While driving, it suddenly leapt out from the bushes on the left. About 1 meter long. It didn’t hit the car, but after wandering on the road for a while, it went back into the bushes.

While driving on National Route 13 from Akita toward Omagari, a bear entered the highway from the shrubs on the small hill on the left, tried to cross the road to head toward Wada Station, but was blocked by the central divider fence. It attempted two or three times to ram through the fence to get out but couldn’t, and then fled back into the shrubs on the hill it had come from.
