One bear approximately 50 cm in body length was sighted near the fence at the boundary between the employee parking lot and the forest behind the Aganogawa Service Area (upbound) on the Banetsu Expressway, about 120 m from the Kumawatari settlement (approximately 30 m into the forest side). The bear moved into the forest.
