Around 10:20 on April 5, an adult bear was sighted near the Zenjoji temple parking lot on Prefectural Route 51 in Okkamiya, Mitoya-cho, Unnan City, Shimane Prefecture. According to reports, the bear crossed the road from the mountains on the west side of the prefectural road and fled into the mountains on the east side.
