At around 06:30 on May 10, an adult bear was sighted in brush along the Tedori River in Yoshino, Hakusan City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The site is close to residential areas; Hakusan City and the police patrolled the surrounding area but did not find the bear, and the city has issued a warning (this was the first sighting at this location this year).
