At around 09:20 on the 12th, a single cub was sighted in a parking lot near the Miyagi University main building in Gakuen, Taiwa Town, Miyagi. About 15 minutes later the same individual was seen near the Miyagi Prefectural Library in Murasakiyama 1-chome, Izumi Ward, Sendai; there were no injuries or damage to buildings.
