At around 19:10 on December 5, 2025, a driver passing by spotted one bear on the west bank of the Yogo River in Shigenori, Takatsuki-cho, Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture. The bear entered the river from the roadway, its body length is unknown, and the police are urging caution because there are houses and factories nearby.
