A bear was sighted near Takasekami-go, Aza Nakunaki; attempted to drive it away by car; it crossed a drainage canal and entered the village area in Aza Sugimoto, Takasekami-go. The bear is believed to have headed toward the Kubosekan River. Two bears were observed: one about 1.0 m long and another about 0.5 m. Distance to the nearest house about 5 m.
