Around 05:05 on the 6th, a man in his 20s riding a bicycle on a city road in Nishitanaka, Izumi Ward, Sendai collided with a bear about 1 meter long. The man fell and sustained minor injuries to his head and neck; the bear crossed the road and left after the collision.
