Asamushi Onsen to Kazuno Drive

[Post] Between 18:00 and 19:30, while livestreaming, I counted bears on both sides of the prefectural road and there were 13. They included solitary individuals and parent-and-young groups, among others.

One bear was sighted in Kohbata, Aomori City, around 7:10 PM.

While driving, I saw it in my rearview mirror as I passed by. It crossed the road heading south.

According to Aomori Prefecture, around 9:00 on 2026-07-19, a bear was sighted moving in Okuse, Towada City.

While driving a farm vehicle, the driver sighted one bear about 1 m in body length approximately 10 m to the northwest. Immediately afterward, from inside the vehicle they observed the bear place its paw on the rear of the farm vehicle. The bear then left on foot into the underbrush to the northwest.

At a bus stop near Kumoi Falls, tourists witnessed a young bear swimming across the river to the opposite bank.

While driving on Takamori Mountain, I spotted a large black object in a wide meadow. I got out to check and it was moving, so I recognized it as a bear. A few minutes later when I came back down, it was already gone.
