That same road corridor has stayed busy, with another bear crossing near Kisaragi Bridge in Ashibetsu Asahimachi Yayu on March 23, 2026 at 8:57, and a separate sighting on March 23, 2026 around 8:55 in Ashibetsu City.

The most active ground around Takisato Dam has been the Ashibetsu side of Route 452, while Kamifurano Town has also had repeated reports in Nishi 5 sen North and Nishi 5 sen Kita.
