At around 12:25 PM, the facility manager at the Kamikoani Village Community Center (Yamafuji Onsen) grounds sighted one Asiatic black bear (Tsukinowaguma) approximately 1.0 m in body length. The bear subsequently left heading east into the forest. The distance to Yamafuji Onsen and the Prefectural Road Okitamen-Yanuno Line is about 15 meters.
