Bush-clearing work was carried out on the Nakatsugawa riverbed in central Morioka. Staff of 10 used machinery to clear about a 700m section between Yonoji Bridge and Shimo-no-hashi after an adult bear stayed in October and six sightings were reported between Nov 28 and Dec 3.
