The animal believed to be a bear later left toward the mountains.

At around 21:30 on April 17, 2026, a man driving on Prefectural Road 274 in Nishi-yama, Samegawa Village, Fukushima, sighted one bear-like animal (approximately 60 cm long) crossing the road.
