While descending from Yakiyama, at a curve toward Goshogake Onsen, a bear about 1.2 m long was seen eating something on the trail. After quietly observing, the bear moved toward the Goshogake Onsen side, the rustling noise ceased, and about 5 minutes later we hurried down. About 500 m straight line from Goshogake Onsen.
