At around 16:20 on the 21st, a man in his 40s walking in Chieko-no-Mori Park in Yui, Nihonmatsu, reported to the Nihonmatsu police that he had seen a bear about 1 meter long near a slide. No human injuries have been reported; the police provided information to the city and are conducting patrol-car warnings.
