At around 09:50 on the 2nd, police officers found one bear approximately 0.5–0.6 m long lying in a parking lot in front of a storage shed in Shionohara, Minamiaizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture. The bear appeared weakened and barely moved, and was captured on site.
