Posted: This morning I found bear tracks. They came down from near the stone tomb area and continued toward the Samagawa area. The tracks are new, likely from last night to this morning. Also, judging by the size, it is probably an adult. The tracks are on the old road behind my house. In over 60 years, I have never seen bear tracks on the snow near my home. It happened to be snowing, so the tracks were visible; otherwise I wouldn’t have noticed. Terrifying.
