Around 19:30 on the 16th, at a residence in Shiotsubo, Takago-machi, Kitakata City, a woman in her 60s saw a bear about 50 cm long eating persimmons hung under the eaves of her house. The bear left afterward and there were no human injuries, but police have urged nearby residents to be cautious.
