At around 11:00 on the 11th, a man mowing grass spotted one bear about 1 meter long on the riverbank in Enokauchi, Kamihatori, Futaba Town, Fukushima Prefecture. The bear subsequently moved into the forest to the south; no damage to people or property was reported. Police, coordinating with Futaba Town and other agencies, are conducting warning and public information activities in the area.
