On Monday, June 15 at approximately 10:20 a.m., in Yamashiro, Imogoya, Yanaizu Town, a witness (male in his 60s) was walking along a waterway beside Prefectural Route Yanaizu-Showa to inspect it and observed one bear wandering nearby (about 1 m in body length). Additionally, at around 11:30 a.m. the same day at the same location, one bear (about 50 cm in body length) was observed.
