Witnesses observed a bear that appeared to be a mother with cub walking along the mountainside behind the house after the home's security sensor activated. They chased it away with rocket fireworks, and the bear fled to the south mountains. Mother about 1.2 m; cub about 70 cm. About 10 m to the house.
