A single bear approximately 150 cm in body length was sighted within the Nadachi-Ōmachi settlement in Nadachi Ward (about 100 m northwest of Nadachi Station). Later, what appeared to be the same bear was sighted on the prefectural road Tōbiyama-Nadachi Line near the Nadachi Ward General Office.
