On Saturday, April 25 at approximately 11:35 a.m., near the Saito-yama trailhead in Osandanchi, Nagano, Minamiaizu Town, a witness (male in his 40s) sighted one bear (approximately 50 cm in body length) wandering in the underbrush. The witness left the area immediately, and the bear’s subsequent whereabouts are unknown.
