Witnessed one bear emerge from the woods on the east side. It noticed people and returned into the woods. Approximately 50 meters from the nearest building.

While driving from Kamo-Aosa toward Funakawa, I saw a bear approximately 1.0 m long in the roadside grass on the seaward side while waiting at a roadwork traffic signal. It left heading west (toward the sea).

During a dog walk, I noticed it about 30 meters ahead and, by chance at a corner, somehow avoided it. It was about 1.3 meters. It was huge and very fleshy.

[Report] While walking the dog, I encountered a large bear coming down from the mountain at a distance of about 30 meters. The bear noticed us, slowly turned around, and climbed back up the mountain.
