While working near the site of a thermal power plant, one bear was sighted near the north gate about 60 m away, about 1 m in size. The bear left to the north and moved to about 100 m from nearby buildings.

[Report] While driving, I witnessed one cub (about 50 cm in length) sprinting up the west-side stairs of Iijima Elementary School grounds. I could not confirm any adult bear, but it may have been with the cub.
