Shiki No Moriyama Sou

On Wednesday, June 24 at about 2:30 p.m., at 1157 Minamiorenzawayama, Hibara, Kitashiobara Village (on the road southeast of Michi-no-Eki Urabandai), a witness (age unknown, female) observed one bear (approx. 1 m in body length) crossing the national road from west to east. The subsequent whereabouts of the bear are unknown.

Around 2:30 PM on October 21, on National Route 459 in Kibara, the witness driving observed a bear about 1 m crossing the road from north to south. The bear then moved into the shrubs to the south.

Around 10:20 AM on October 9, in Kitakata City, Hibara area, a tourist male observed a bear about 1 m up a tree on the east side of a forest. After the witness left, the bear’s whereabouts were unknown.
