Around 11:50 on the 13th, a bear about 50 cm long was spotted on a municipal road in Kitanosawashimayama, Kariwano, Daisen City, Akita Prefecture by a woman in her 50s driving a car. The site is about 100 meters from the nearest house and about 150 meters from Nishi-Semboku High School; police are patrolling by patrol car and warning residents.
