Shiritsu Yoda Shougakkou

At around 11:30 a.m. on the 20th, a driver spotted a bear about 1 meter long in a paddy field in Yoda, Yanai City, Yamaguchi Prefecture; the bear walked off to the west. There were no injuries; the bear was seen about 350 meters northeast of Yoda Elementary School and police urged caution with patrol cars.

Around 18:00 on May 13, a single bear about 1.0 meters long was sighted in the grassy slope of the agricultural road Yanai-Tabuse Line in Yoda, Yanai City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. There were no reports of injuries, and the Yanai Police Station is patrolling the area and urging caution.
