After being seen, the bear headed south along the river, and its subsequent movements are unknown.

On Wednesday, June 24 at approximately 7:40 a.m., in Aizuwakamatsu City, Ikki-machi, Oaza Yahata, Yazaki Kamiyama area, a witness (male, in his 20s) while driving a vehicle observed one bear crossing the road (about 50 cm in body length). After being seen, the bear entered the forested hills to the east, and its subsequent movements are unknown.

At around 21:40 on the 11th, a male driver spotted a single bear (about 1.5 meters long) standing on the road in Ikkimachi, Aizuwakamatsu. The bear's subsequent movements are unknown, no damage has been reported, and police are patrolling the area by patrol car and advising residents to be cautious.
