Around 21:50 on the 25th, a man in his 40s in Sahara Uehara, Fukushima City, sighted two bears about 1 meter long walking west to east through fields. No human injuries have been confirmed; police reported the sighting to the city and are conducting patrols in the area.

Around 15:00 on November 8, 2025, a bear approximately 1.5 m long was sighted inside Azuma General Sports Park in Fukushima City. A man in his 80s found it in the woods east of the baseball field; its whereabouts are unknown and authorities remain on alert.

Around 7 a.m. on November 1, in Nakahara, Sahara area, Fukushima City, a caller in their 70s saw persimmons eaten by some animal; the persimmon tree was broken, leading them to suspect a bear and report it.
