A child, while returning from school, sighted an animal believed to be a bear in a field. / Body length approximately 50–60 cm / About 10 m from a residence.

Saw a bear walking through the rice field on the north side of the house. The bear then headed north. Length about 1.0 m. About 50 m to a house.
