On Tuesday, June 16 at around 7:00 a.m., in the Yayoi area of Kuroiwa, Fukushima City, a witness observed one animal believed to be a bear (body length unknown) leaving through the forest on the east side of a municipal road heading toward the Abukuma River. There were no human injuries or property damage.
