On Prefectural Route 36, coming from Omori toward the Omono River, a bear was seen crossing the road from the river side and heading into the western mountains. Body length unknown. 300 m to the nearest house. Report from Yokote Police Station. After the report, two city staff patrolled the area but did not locate it.
