Around 7:37 PM on October 23, on National Route 49 in the Nishiaizu area, a 40s male driving observed a bear about 1 m that suddenly darted out from the left side of the direction of travel and contacted the car. The bear then stood on the right side of the vehicle and left. No human injuries.
