On Sunday, May 17 at approximately 11:20 a.m., a witness observed one animal believed to be a bear (about 1 m in body length) near the mountain forest in Kodera area, Sanezawa, Miharu Town while working. The animal believed to be a bear then departed toward the forest to the north.
