คำอธิบาย

Around 4:30 a.m., while delivering newspapers, spotted a bear in a watermelon field. It then left toward the southeast hillside while still holding the watermelon. About 80 cm in length. About 20–30 m to a house. Town staff confirmed watermelon damage. Also, around 8:40 a.m., a nearby resident who was working there reported seeing a bear (posted separately).
