On November 3 a metal-processing firm's entrance glass in Chushin, Sanjo City, was found shattered, with bear-like footprints, hair, and blood stains observed in the vestibule. The company was closed and there were no injuries, but sightings nearby and the residential setting prompted local authorities and police to warn residents to be cautious.
