คำอธิบาย

On November 20, 2025 at about 07:40, staff found a cub sitting in a ginkgo tree on the grounds of the Omoriyama elderly-and-children facility in Omoriyama, Akita City, and reported it. About three hours after the report, prefectural staff captured and exterminated the cub with a tranquilizer gun; there were no injuries, but nearby facilities remain on alert because a parent bear may be nearby.
