At around 18:10 on March 31, 2026, one bear was sighted in Tenjin-daira area (Ishii aza), Fujimi-machi, Maebashi City. The sighting was about 1 km north of Route 353, near the Akagi Shirakawa river and facilities such as the National Akagi Youth Exchange Center and Fujimi Onsen "Miharashi no Yu Fureai-kan".
