Inaba Shrine has been watching a sharp new bear flare up in Ogaki and Seki. On May 8, 2026, a male black bear about 95 cm long was found caught in a deer trap in Akasaka cho in Ogaki, captured by the city, and euthanized after being found close to homes and schools.
